Amber Friend, LCSW, MSW ​Mrs. Friend is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.

 

She majored in Human Services at Geneva College prior to earning her Master’s of Social Work from the University of Pittsburgh. Mrs. Friend loves working with children, adolescents, and their families. She has over 15 years of experience working in the school setting as a social worker. Her background provides a unique understanding of behavioral and mental health concerns in children and the impact on the family system. Her areas of experience include mental health and behavioral concerns in children and youth, Autism, trauma informed care, and grief/loss issues. Mrs. Friend incorporates a variety of evidenced based approaches into her therapeutic work. Mrs.Friend utilizes an empathic and collaborative approach to partner with clients in order to impact change.

 

Mrs. Friend currently schedules appointments on Tuesday evenings Ages 5 and older.
